Nov 8,9: Two Sturgeon Keepers on Suisun Bay! (Calif Delta)

After declaring my Delta salmon season over last week it was time to
head for Suisun Bay on the California Delta, near Pittsburg and
Antioch, CA, and get my sturgeon season under way.

I arrived at my honey hole on Suisun Bay about 1130 Tuesday morning. A
huge outgoing tide was predicted and the weather guesser promised
light winds. It doesn't get any better on Suisun!

During the huge outgo, I reeled in two nice sturgies. The first at
1730 was likely a keeper at about 46" (I didn't bring him aboard for a
measure) but I released him to grow bigger. An hour later I had a
suicide hit on steroids unlike any sturgeon I've ever caught - he was
like a freight train taking that bait! I got him to the boat in about
15 minutes, and chose to keep that one. He measured 59 inches and
weighed 45 lbs.

Both came on eel and during that big outgoing current. I spent the
night aboard and headed back upriver to Rio Vista the next morning.

Lots more photos, a couple of short videos of the night on Suisun, and
more story on my homepage: http://fishwisher.wordpress.com/2011...on-suisun-bay/

No, dear reader, I don't eat that very popular table fare known as
sturgeon. I give it away to folks who love to eat it. And none of us
give a tinker's damn whether you approve or not!

Is sturgeon considered "****" by most folks? Check out
http://www.foodnetwork.com/topics/sturgeon/index.html to see the many
recipes fish lovers have sent in - case closed. Sturgeon is a very
popular fish for table fare, and if you should find it in a store, it
is very pricey.

And white sturgeon eggs - the type of sturgeon in my report - are
highly prized for caviar. At $125 for two ounces, you call sturgeon
****?! Nobody's listening to your opinion, apparently. I doubt anyone
who knows you listens.

Another foolish statement from *e#c, knowing nothing of what he
speaks. The white sturgeon is not endangered in my area. It is the
green that is listed as endangered here and cannot be kept. The white
may be taken from 46" to 66" and taking three per year is legal.

For a change, *e#c, get your brain in gear before you display your
ignorance for all the world to see.

And another thing: your inability to debate without all the slander

No, dear reader, I don't eat that very popular table fare known as
sturgeon. I give it away to folks who love to eat it. And none of us
give a tinker's damn whether you approve or not!

What a " hero"....LMAO

Whoever - or whatever - this fool *e#c is, his idiocy is very apparent
for all to see. Simply click on his profile and see how many posts he
puts up on newsgroups. Having nothing better to do than troll is clear
in that he obviously spends most of his time in mama's basement on her
computer.

Lots more photos, a couple of short videos of the night on Suisun, and

not me man...

Ever been checked for asperger's syndrome? You should be.

Your symptoms include:

* Inability to think in abstract ways (eg: puns, jokes, sarcasm,

etc)
* Difficulties in empathizing with others
* Problems with understanding another person's point of view
* Hampered conversational ability
* Problems with controlling feelings such as anger, depression
and anxiety
* Inability to manage appropriate social conduct
* Anger and aggression when things do not happen as you want
* Sensitivity to criticism
* Eccentricity
* Behaviour varies from mildly unusual to quite aggressive
and difficult

Copied from your medical records. Can't you ever be original?

You're the fool, here, for fishing an endangered fish, you
asswipe.

Another foolish statement from *e#c, knowing nothing of what he
speaks. The white sturgeon is not endangered in my area. It is the
green that is listed as endangered here and cannot be kept. The
white may be taken from 46" to 66" and taking three per year is
legal.

For a change, *e#c, get your brain in gear before you display your
ignorance for all the world to see.

And another thing: your inability to debate without all the slander
and foul language also shows all who read your nonsense that you are
ignorant.

So have at it, continue your display of ignorance. I'm done wasting
my time responding to you.

Having nothing better to do than troll is clear
in that he obviously spends most of his time in mama's basement on her
computer.

Is sturgeon considered "****" by most folks? Check outhttp://www.foodnetwork.com/topics/sturgeon/index.htmltosee the many
recipes fish lovers have sent in - case closed.

I doubt anyone
who knows you listens.http://www.gourmetfoodstore.com/cavi...309.asp?mscssi...

*e#c, you really are not worth the effort to respond, but now everyone
can see you for the fool you are.

Hilarious how you cant spell when you get all excited. I'll bet you
stutter, as well. LMAO!!!!!

"Cant"? How about "can't"?

Or maybe you did mean an "angular deviation from a vertical or
horizontal plane or surface; an inclination or slope."
