I am lookin for a family river trip in SW USA (close to SOCAL/NORCAL,
unguided, class 1-2 for 3-5 days. I would like to rent a canoe/raft
with transportation support. I was an experienced whitewater canoe
competitor 20yrs ago, up to class IV in the east, don't know much
about the western USA and I want to introduce the family to the
activity. Any suggestion for rivers, books, outfitters, etc. We are
comfortable in the outdoors-- kids are 11/8 excellent swimmers.
