Sweet. Send your employees to emergency rooms and medicaid so the taxpayers can cover it. Excellent strategy to bolster net profits for the company that imports more Communist Chinese goods to America than any other. Hey all you wingers, make sure to patronize Walmart cuz they believe in Jesus. I thought Obama care was going to fix all if this. Don't they have to provide coverage now? 2014? I don't know. I do know Obama care was going to raise costs and this is the excuse Walmart cites. They're low-wage employers. Getting the cheapest crap to sell at the highest margin using cheap labor is their business model. They're retailers for the Communist Chinese. It's nice that China has rising wages and rapidly expanding infrastructure. And the Heartland of America is funding it. Meanwhile, Walmart doesn't give a **** if its employees have to go to emergency rooms and medicare, cuz the tab gets picked up by Mr. and Mrs. America. Excellent. Have you checked out the 'Made in China' items at Home Depot lately? Your 'German' screwdrivers probably came from China originally - then repackaged in German containers. Amazing how you righties seem to "get off" on the proliferation of communist-made goods in our stores. One might think you prefer it to U.S.-made goods produced by American workers earning a decent wage. Snotty builds rowboats out of exterior plywood. WTF would he know about the quality of a german tool. Little dweeb probably eats food imported from China. I think he gave up building rowboats. |

It's getting better, but they still are more expensive. The average US worker is being coddled so much that it just costs too much to manufacture here. Add to that that the heads of the companies need to rake in millions upon millions of dollars you end up with a ****ty economy where people can't afford those goods. That is the gist of what the wall street occupiers are rightfully protesting about. |

That is the gist of what the wall street occupiers are rightfully protesting about. We will never be able to compete on price with slave labor. BTW I always hear about wage disparity but it is nothing here compared to China. One of those writers who spent a lot of tome in China was on Charley Rose the other night and described China a few miles out of the big city as a "Ming Dynasty" lifestyle. Under socialism, which the liberals are praying for, the rulers will live the same way. The poor class will be much larger, but they don't know that. |

Oh wait, government will, but not you or I. They're retailers for the Communist Chinese. It's nice that China has rising wages and rapidly expanding infrastructure. And the Heartland of America is funding it. Yep, wealth moves to those that can produce stuff other than pure bull****, debt and excessive costs. Meanwhile, Walmart doesn't give a **** if its employees have to go to emergency rooms and medicare, cuz the tab gets picked up by Mr. and Mrs. America. Excellent. Oh they do, it affects productivity. Nothing to stop you from paying someone else's health care if you really care so much. Fact is no skills, you want a job it isn't going to pay much. Fleabaggers can ignore the equity of economics, but that doesn't mean the fleabaggers can escape reality. Too many fleabaggers need to learn where their real social station is in life. The lesson will be harsh until they smarten up. -- Eat the rich, screw the companies and wonder why there are no jobs. I guess I could point out it was the president from Little Rock, a couple miles from Bentonville, who signed the trade deals that took Walmart from being a small regional store to being the biggest retailer in the world ... selling chinese crap. Clinton was all about selling to the Chinese. That's how they got the technology to shoot down that satellite? Walmart's profits came at the expense of the small mom and pop stores they displace so, at best it was a zero sum game. The reality is it was worse. Those "savings" come at the cost of other American businesses. The American sunset and the Chinese ascent are largely due to the type of business Walmart runs. **** the country, the Waltons need more cash. |
