Intermittent 2 Beeps?
Hello, we have a 26' Maxum and it beeps intermittantly, lower unit canister is full of lube oil, what else can we check?

Enclosed or raw water cooling? The beeper is a warning device. Is it for oil, engine heat, charging system? does it sound off at engine idle, under cruse, plane? We need to know some specifics.... |

We need to know some specifics.... It might not help. 2 beeps usually just means it is time to hook up a code scanner. That is if it's equipped with an on board computer system. That's another thing the OP didn't mention. What year craft... |

FWIW, my Proline did the beeping thing, and I looked around, saw that the plastic lower unit oil bottle was full, and wondered what the problem was. Actually, the plastic bottle was almost empty, but had a layer of the oil stuck to the inside making it appear full - from the outside. So, if you've not done so, take the top off and actually look into the plastic bottle. You're probably a lot smarter than I was and have already done so. Another thing you could do is trace the wire from the beeper back to whatever sensor is causing the thing to go off. |
