JohnH is among the dim bulbs here, besides his racism. I went to see Obama at the Seattle Opera House more than a year before he announced his run. I was impressed. My wife asked what I liked about him and I said "that he's most interested in working on problems that 80% of us agree on, and after these years of Bush, it'd be nice if we could work on what matters to both sides and quit the bickering." I was naive thinking the Republicans would see any merit in getting along. |

You conveniently forget (because you are a liar) that Nancy Pelosi coined the phrase "do nothing congress" in respect to the democrats filibustering each and ever proposal Bush put up... |

It's weird to witness such prejudice against a tool by another tool. Your un-clever quips don't change the fact that you made up the German/Niponese union made screwdrivers story... |

Too bad he hasn't accomplished anything, well, except more debt, but nothing he promised. Others had the foresight to know he was going to be a disaster. |

Politicians put an ear close to polls, surveys, and public sentiment and have their speeches written for them in light of same. I'm shocked that an intellectual like you isn't aware of political story telling. |
