For 50 + years. That's precisely what has led to the long ongoing demise.
Government made people lazy - once lazy they're at the trough and
in-your-face, "News" is 95% deficient or downright lies, fed by lackeys in
government. The lazy (feasibly 60+%), being unable to independently think,
believe what they hear on television which is solely a medium for
entertainment and the spread of corrupt, defective philosophy. The results
are the demise of ALL core, base economic activity, which causes the lazy
masses to "demand" even more from the corrupt government. The circle is
complete. No economic core, persecution of the productive, coddling of the
non-productive, now turning to violence. The final stage of a demise is
tyranny, easily seen being implemented every day. Following tyranny is
revolution. Then all over again, whatever country becomes the "governor" of
the remaining U.S., will decide what it might be in the future. If lucky, it
may look like Bulgaria, but more likely, more of a blend of Mexico, Uganda,
Cuba and definitely a workers "paradise." It should be given up for dead -
the future is Asia, has been for 25 years.

I would not count out India or South America or Russia. Australia looks
pretty good too.

But with $15 trillion in debt, a corrupt government the people cannot
afford, USA is toast for at least 2 decades. USA will come back when
the political and banking criminals are long gone and the system cleaned
up or disbanded for something better.

You make a quick leap from disinformation to economic collapse. And
then a bunch more leaps that have me thinking you're peering out of a
dark hole, having bent your neck 180 degrees.

I expect you either live outside or are moving out of the US, unless
you're among those hoping to inspire revolution.

Inspire revolution? Why bother - YOU are on the Titantic....have a nice
cruise. If you understood the global marketplace and competition, you'd
know the Coast Guard ain't showing up for the U.S. (That officially made
this post ON TOPIC) There is no "recession," what has occurred in the U.S.
is the demise of the basic, core industries...nothing will cause them to
return. It wasn't Clinton's, Bush's or the current assholes fault..it
started in the late 70's, NAFTA lowered the lid of the casket, MFN for China
buried the coffin. The current parasites in office have no clue, and will
repeatedly be returned to office.

.....gotta go, gotta get back to Shanghai - keep driving your Toyota's and
Hyundais to Walmat.

I deal with a factory in Shanghai nearly every week. They're flying
by the seat of their pants, hoping the plane holds together long
enough to land. Shaky as ****. They can't estimate worth ****, their
QA sucks and their labor prices are rising.

So, you're manufacturing cheap **** to sell to suckers in the USA?

You're just a stupid ****. The technology my business requires isn't
manufactured in this country. Probably because stupid ****s like you
continue to give Walmart, Target and the rest of the Chinese resellers
all their money.

Go try to buy an American made toaster, jerk.

Flaming hypocrite.

Buys from the Chinese while condemning others who do the same, and then
tries to justify himself.

Smells like krause with the Walmart coupon...

"Americans" (only) can reverse the condition, but stupidity or sloth prevent
that from happening.
