33 question Civics test.

Average score by Americans is 49%
Average score by college professors: 55%

I surprised myself. Apparently not as dumb as I thought I was. I scored
84.8%

You answered 26 out of 33 correctly — 81.2 %

Does this mean we can be college professors?

Why stop there, man. DEANS!

I am holding out for SCOTUS justice ;-)

I'd gladly endorse you to replace Clarence Thomas.

Being pro choice myself and not a sex harasser, I suppose you would.
I would certainly drag the court to the left a bit in personal
freedoms but you might not like my 2d amendment and 9/10th amendment
views. I would certainly narrow a lot of the views about what the 14th
amendment means. It is currently being used to expand federal powers
over the states in issues that have nothing to do with protecting
rights. (unless you think people have the "right" to go to federal
prison for medical marijuana)

So, you would interpret the Constitution? Wow. That's quite a
statement!

That is what the SCOTUS does.
We have a constitution that will fit in a shirt pocket and federal
laws that would not fit in the bed of a pickup truck. It is clear we
need some kind of interpretation.

No statism in simplicity or common sense. We elect lawyers and they
love complexity for profit.

Really? Like GWB? Like GHWB? Like many others? Basically, you're
ignorant and stupid.

Or WJCB and BHOB ? This is the 4th Bush in a row.

As sad as it is, most politicians are lawyers. I'm surprised you
didn't mention Nixon

Umm... Nixon was a lawyer. I was talking about non-lawyers as a
rebuttal to the moron's assertion about us electing lawyers. I guess
he and you forgot about the terrible job some non-lawyers have done.

Clinton and Obama are not Bush. Not sure what sort of rhetorical
argument you're making.

Truman and Eisenhower did OK I bet you even like LBJ and Carter

It depends on your definition of like. I liked what LBJ did socially.
He implemented through force of will what Kennedy proposed. Carter was
a decent guy, but had domestic economic problems that were not his own
making.

I certainly have not seen any huge policy shifts in the last 23 years.
It just keeps getting worse.

Again, it depends on the definition of policy shift. Clinton did more
economically and socially. Reagan, while certainly implemented some
things, also did some terrible things and some mediocre things. GHWB
wasn't a bad president, at least compared to his son. Nixon was a
crook, but didn't let that get in the way of practicality. Obama is
struggling, most esp. with the right wing crazies who want to end the
Fed, bust unions, and don't give a damn about the environment, not to
mention kill anyone who doesn't agree with them, unlike what Jesus
would do, even though they always talk about him.

Nope, to much sense.

And besides that 26 0f 33 equals 78.78%

----------------------------------
You answered 31 out of 33 correctly — 93.94 %
Gettysburg Address and Public Good. Do not even remember seeing the
correct answer on the Public Good question.

Guess you are too qualified to be a representative.

Imagine if they asked how many states and had 57 and 58 on it for Obama?
