Nah, she just took the easy route for a piece of paper in that she went

you've claimed for her through the years?

You could hire a reliable skipper and sail it back...... although I'd
wait until hurricane season ends on Nov 01.
My buddy in the BVI has made a number of deliveries to Europe.

We have two totally qualified people in our little band. However,
that's not in the cards. I think we'd all rather buy something locally

Nothing in Europe is cheap by the standards of the US. The tolls are
not unreasonable however and the roads are good. Toll booths accept
credit cards for automated payment. Most things cost about the same
in Euros as they would cost in dollars here.

Besides, as much money as you plan to spend on your 'holiday' do you
care what toll roads costs? Are you really that much of a tight arse?

She will arrive by freighter and back-pack around using her thumb to
secure land transportation while sponging off friends. Tight arse seems
a fitting description.

I've got several emails into my friends there. It should be a blast,
and they should be back from their vacation by then.

Do you have any idea what the toll roads cost? I've heard it's not
cheap.

Stay out of Switzerland. Or at least stay off the Swiss autobahns.

Sure hope you find a sailboat you like!

We won't be buying one there, but ideas don't require import duties.

Italy truly is a wonderful country to visit. What parts are on your
itinerary?

Well, it's mostly Rome and surrounding area, but now I'm thinking of
Florence and possibly visiting SE France (friends near Nice).

Do some skiing on the great slopes of the Dolomites.

I've snow ski'd in the Tirolian Alps before. Wow is that beautiful!

Garmisch?

Got to:

Plugin your departure and arrival cities and viola, tolls are calculated
along with other trip information.

Nice link.. thanks! Doesn't seem that expensive, although I think I'd
prefer to take our time and not do freeways if possible.
