During Hurricane Juan in 2003, we lost two lives up here. One was a paramedic who was parked on the street next to a major hospital waiting for calls when a large tree was uprooted and fell on them. His partner survived. Stay away from large trees if you can. This half of the Cowardly Duo is scared ****less and the storm hasn't even gotten there yet! |
