'change''....it's easy to learn! really it is. perhaps if you have someone read it to you, sound it out for you and you look it up on the net you can start to learn some history and then you wouldnt be a moron right winger, OK? Now let me see if I understand this correctly, I'll try to be as succinct as possible to avoid confusion. Long ago, Democrats favored slavery and indentured servitude of black persons, and fought a war to keep slavery. The GOP wanted civil rights and equality for all, regardless of race or skin color. Even after slavery was abolished, from some within this democratic "race baiting, black hating, segregationist party" was founded the KKK in an effort to keep black people intimidated and subservient. One day or year, these democrats had an epiphany, which culminated in President Johnson signing the civil rights act into law. Whereupon there came a great "change". The GOP switched roles with the democrats. The GOP became the "race baiting, black hating, segregationist party" that the democrats had been, while the democrats became civil rights champions, like the GOP had been. Hmmmm. you denying the historical record of the 'southern strategy'?? really? I just typed out more slowly your daft assertion that the democratic "race baiting, black hating, segregationist party" traded places with the GOP. |

Historical fact, dumb Jimmy Dickens. -- Don't forget to leave a bit of beef for rec.boat's right-wing conservatrashers and ID spoofers to feed upon. The more they feed, the quicker rec.boats will fall into the black hole of cyberspace and disappear. |
