When it is cheaper to obtain the raw materials, ship them over seas, manufacture the goods, ship them back to the USA and sell them for less then having the same goods manufactured in the USA, tell me why I should use overpriced USA labor? Union people buy imported, don't see why we shouldn't. You worded the above well. But let us not also forget the cost of government and unions beyond the individual worker. The who cost model of USA for most products is simply not there. Hydro, property taxes, water costs, fuel, raw materials, management and of course labour are all non-competitive. I think your head would hurt less if you just bang it with a stick. This level of stupid has got to hurt something fierce. |

When it is cheaper to obtain the raw materials, ship them over seas, manufacture the goods, ship them back to the USA and sell them for less then having the same goods manufactured in the USA, tell me why I should use overpriced USA labor? who says US labor is overpriced? compared to what? germans where per hour labor costs are higher than the US because of UNIONS but they STILL export MORE than we do?? you dont know much about economics, do you? |
