Default Baseball and boating

It was a great boating and baseball weekend…

Moved the boat last week up the Potomac to D.C., so we could attend a
"Labor Night" baseball game Friday night between the Washington
Nationals and the New York Mets, hit a few clubs Friday night after the
game, and then cruise the Potomac Saturday.

Game was ok. The Nats need some better hitters. Hotdogs and beer/ale
were good.

Spent the night on the boat in air-conditioned comfort, headed down the
Potomac about 9 am. Spent the entire day messing about on the River,
then went across Chesapeake Bay and spent the night on the boat in the
Oxford area.

Today we cruised up to Annapolis, cross the Bay again and had lunch with
some friends at a restaurant on Kent Island.

A scan of some of the posts in rec. boats once again proved this is not
a boating group, but a garbage dump for right wingers, right-wing
racists, and moron ID spoofers. Hopefully, usenet will be shut down
soon, and all the right-wing assholes will have to satisfy themselves
with the right-wing blogs only the right-wingers read. I do want to be
here on the day rec.boats is finally buried. I'll be there to toss a
shovelful of dirt on the decomposed rec.boats body.

I did see the photo of Ingersoll's living room with the motorcycle
tracks circling the wood floor. I don't know why he kept that bike in
the kitchen when he had all that room in the living room.

Well, keep on keeping on. The stench in here is overwhelming.

Oh…no photos to post here. This isn't the place for boating photos.

Why, thank you. I put a tiny bit of effort into earning the enmity of

You stupid spoofer, your post trying to emulate me is so full of holes
it looks like a third grader wrote it. First of all, every here that
knows me, knows that I have stated over and over that I'd never own a
slow trawler type boat because I have no interest in seeing scenery, I
just want to get to my destination. Next, I've stated over and over, I
have no interest in sleeping anywhere but home or a nice hotel. If I'd
knock someone for camping in a nice camper, why would I do just the same
in a cramped boat? Then, I've stated over and over here that I have no
interest in organized sports events. Last but not least, why would I
come here and tell you about my boating weekend if rec.boats has no
interest in boating, and I think this place is a cesspool? So whatever
right wing asshole is spoofing me, nice try.
