when u say anti-seize I hope u don't mean never seize, if so get that stuff
cleaned out of there before u burn it and dry it out it will turn to a
compound and wear out your rings and cylinder very quick, I herd a friend
tell me he used marvel mystery oil and blew it out the spark plug holes
without disassembly and it ran good, PS change the oil and filter a few
times ,once now before running and then run it to mix it up with the water
and try to get it all out, salt water is a killer, how long was it in there
before u noticed?

I discovered I had a head gasket failure on the right side of my 1985
Evinrude 175 HP outboard. The plugs were fouled with sea water as was the
cylinders. I sprayed the cylinder bores with anti-sieze lubricant after
cleaning them, this after removing the head to get to the gasket. My
thermostat and pressure relief valve were also junk from the corrosive
power
of salt. I am replacing the head gasket and the other parts. Could this
sea water have gotten past the piston rings and into the crankcase. Is
there anything else I should address because of this problem? Your
