Grow a pair and take your boat into the ocean. You might even see a
similar event. Most of us who have been offshore have seen numerous whales.

And so, "Jay" offers up a perfect example of why rec.boats is dying.
Even an on-topic post with an interesting video (recreational boaters
experiencing a large whale swimming right under their boat) is trashed
by one of rec.boats' right-wing haters.

I don't have a boat, I sold my Parker last year because I only used the
boat 18 hrs in 3 years, I figured I could rent a boat or go on a charter
boat much cheaper than owning a boat. While I haven't been boating or
fishing this year, I am thinking about it.

Well, it really wasn't trashed, he only pointed out the obvious. Most
people who have been boating offshore have seen numerous whales, but
there is no reason to point out the obvious.

You and Don have done exactly that MANY times here. Why don't you go to
your own group and stay there.

Jay couldn't resist taking a jab at you. It is what it is. This thread
can probably do well without your input but your continued involvement
is sure to draw nasty comments directed at you. Am I wrong?

Yup.... this newsgroup is infested with instigators, agitators,
irritators and enablers.
The only cure... a gift subscription to a new boating newsgroup.
Can you recommend one? ;-)
