Many years ago, while in college, I suffered a neck/back injury that was severe enough to make it impossible for me to ride the motorcycle I had at that time, a two cylinder Honda. I had to sell the bike. I was fairly certain the injury over the years healed properly and that I could ride a motorcycle again. So I spent a small amount of money on a Kawasaki to see if I would be able to ride reasonable distances, up to a couple of hundred miles. After messing around with the bike locally, one morning I drove off to Virginia Beach and back. It was a successful trip, neck and back wise, as it were, so I seriously began considering getting the bike I really wanted. Simple enough. Or do you think I am feeling "inadequate" because I'm not ashamed to admit I am *not* a skilled professional motorcycle racer? Well, I'm not. Driving a motorcycle around a sports car track at 160+ mph is not something I would do. But...a bit of stoplight drag racing against snotnoses like you in 'vettes? Absolutely.
