We have about a dozen posters posting about recreational boating and
fishing, with no insults of any kind, no ID thievery, no endless numbers
of posts extolling the virtues of any particular branch of politics, no
threats of physical violence, et cetera.

Far fewer posts than here, but all signal, no noise.

Have you posted photos of your crappy boat over there yet? Or are you
afraid one of your pals is a mole working for the free, uncensored
rec.boats. In which case you you are between a rock and as hard place.
You can't gain credibility unless you put up a photo. You can't put up a
photo unless you want to be subjected by intense ridicule. Yes Harry, we
have you pinned down and you are helpless.
