Instead of answering simply, she decided she was going to try and make a political statement. Unfortunately, she's not bright enough to get out a cogent political thought, and screwed it up to the point where she couldn't take it back. She's highly egotistical, as has been reported many times. The whole thing is taken out of context, and made up like most of what the MSM says about Palin. I watched the words come out of her mouth. There is no "out of context" here. That's word for word what she said. The reporter asked a question, she answered. She could not respond with a coherent couple of half decently formed sentences to a softball question. And her blathering was completely misinformed as well. Sorry, but I expect a presidential candidate to at least be intelligent enough to handle that situation. She was surrounded by reporters so it's not like she was taken off guard or blindsided when coming out a door or something. She's talking to reporters and that's what comes out of her mouth.
