It's not a claim, it's a fact. If pressed to declare some sort of
political allegiance, I usually tell people that I'm a social liberal
and fiscal conservative. That's pretty close. Maybe a libertarian?
I'm also a strong constitutionalist however you want to interpret
that. It seems quite unlikely that our founding fathers, who actually
wrote the constitution, quite anticipated the type of government that
we have evolved into.

Frankly though I'd rather talk about boats and boating.

I have yet to see you say anything that would indicate you're other
than way right of center. Libertarian? Like Ron Paul? That's pretty
extreme. What social programs do you like? Do you think we should fix
not end Medicare? How about Social Security?

A strong constitutionalist typically means doing only what the
Constitution says, with no room for interpretation. Sounds like
Scalia, who is neither a social liberal or a fiscal conservative.

Frankly, you seem very interested in putting me and other liberals
down whenever it suits you. You're unable to make a logical argument
for your positions.

Like I said, I'm here mostly to discuss boating. You are not, and
should avail youself of the nearest exit.

Feel free to stop trying to tell me what to do. You're not qualified.
I'll talk about anything I choose to talk about, and if you don't like
it, you're welcome to leave yourself.

I notice that you're unable to qualify your nonsense response that
you're a strict constitutionalist. I doubt you even know what that
means.

One thing better than talking is doing it.

Why is that extreme? Because it is the opposite of liberal-statism?

Me, I am a conservative libertarian with a social conscious. If you are
a paid up SS, then you get SS. If you are a vet, the least your country
can do is assure your don't hit the street begging. If you are truly
disabled, and not a faker, you too get the early SS.

But if your problem is drugs, dysfunction, lazy tardy, crime, it does
not pay enough, bad attitude, poor work ethics, screwing is more
importnt than work...tough. Replace welfar with workfare, even
socialist countries like Norway and Sweden do this.

Medicare, I think it can be fixed in technical form, but would take some
czar like powers to do it. It needs to start by getting the
political/money driven greedy selfish agenda type people kicked the hell
out of the room with bats if need be. And bring in people who know of
social and economic engineering. Sorry, Hank and Obama are not invited.

A strong constitutionalist typically means doing only what the
Constitution says, with no room for interpretation. Sounds like
Scalia, who is neither a social liberal or a fiscal conservative.

All corruption comes from the exceptions, not the rule. Free speech is
free speech. If they gag you, I should only ask when will they gag me.
Best answer, other than slander, gagging isn't permitted.

Frankly, you seem very interested in putting me and other liberals
down whenever it suits you. You're unable to make a logical argument
for your positions.

We will when it gets stupid irrational, slanderous and just plane
ignorance. But I think you will find for the most part, rational posts
get rational responses. Irrational rsponses are game for big digs.

You're a moron, but to answer your question, no. RP is an extremist
because he is unwilling to compromise to further his agenda. Having
been in Congress so long, you'd think he would have figured that out.
He will always be marginal at best.

You're an extremist and racist. You're also stupid.

No. The problem is dumb bunnies like you.

anyone who hangs around you long enough will experience it.

We knew, from the get go, she was a nut case. She came here, out of the
blue, ranting on about the working conditions of some migrant car wash
employees, and it's been downhill ever since.
