Shut down government until it can figure out how to live inside its means. Like heroin, the best way to quit is cold turkey. You just stop taking on more debt. yeah. let's stop the fight against al qaida so the GOP can figure out how to cut MORE taxes on the rich No paychecks for the troops in Afghanistan or the tens of thosands on the pentagon payroll. Wonder how long that'll last. Haahaahaahaa! I've read news items that claim both, that the troops would be paid and that the troops would not be paid. I've not been looking, but I haven't come across anything definitive. It would be interesting if troop pay were treated like civilian pay in case of a shutdown. I saw a news clip in which about a dozen Republicans were expressing glee over the possibility of a shutdown. Best way to quit an addiction is cold turkey. Just say to Obama, do what you want but NO MORE DEBT and no more PONZI FRAUD money creation. 100% pay as you go in the very literal sense. Solves a huge number of issues. |
