There are several good forums for discussing boating issues and just
plain chewing the rag on boating/fishing, et cetera. Rec.Boats isn't one
of them. There's also a Mako boats board on which a lot of members do
extensive rebuilding and repairs, and some of those might apply to your
situation. Transom rebuilding technique is a common repair subject on
the better discussion boards.

Well, we have a world famous Yacht Manufacturer right here where I
live. I thought of him doing the job.
