Seems kind of stupid really. Libya is not quite 2% of the worlds oil. Military world wide cosnumes about 6% of the world fuel. Shut down all military and you have a 4% glut of oil. Prices would come down. Besides, Canada oil sands could pick up Libya oil production in a heart beat. That is provided you have real money and are not just out to confiscate it. |
