An OT question

Last night I heard Oprah saying the war in Afghanistan had very little impact on
her because there was little to remind her it was going on.

That made me wonder...why don't we see the pictures of the dead, their caskets,
etc, like we did when Bush was president.

We used to see their pictures on NBC and other newscasts, and even in the big
papers. Now we see nothing of the sort.

Anyone?

Are you stupid or just lying? Bush was the one who banned photography
of the caskets. Obama rescinded that.

Obama is into media control, why do you think he is so upset with
Assange and Wikileaks? Obama is a narcissistic control freak. Probably
1/2 the reason Hilaryious is moving on.

Politicians are getting on into controling the media and you can see it
plain as day when you cross check with cynical attitude about a
Omaba-UN-France media planted story on a media source that is a leftie
junkie. Take Libya, Ivory Coast, Wikileaks... politicially managed for
your consumption.

If you check the logs on Wikipedia you can even see where edits are to
cleansed out unwanted content.

As Wikileaks so clearly shows, it isn't about informing the herd, nor
the truth, nor about hearing the people -- it is about managing and
txing the herd. We in North America are managed sheeples.

I believe the policy banning of the casket photography was in effect during the
Clinton administration. Bush simply enforced it.

In any case, so what? Why is this liberal president not showing all the caskets?

You believe wrong. It started with Bush I, and Clinton had little use
for it. Bush/Cheney enforced it with vigor. Obama said it was up to
the families, which seems about right.

Looking at Obama tonight on CNN, sort of ooks like obama just got out of
one. All this war mongering talk. Off to help a minority of violent
rebels armed and killing, while in Beherain a majority is getting
killed. But not as bad as the UN-France Rawanda effort...at least not
yet. The hypocracy. Anyone can see a big power sruggle is going on and
all is not what it seems.

Don't worry, Obama is the next casket populater.

That was American caskets,

John is talking about dead Arabs.
Nobody seems to give a **** about dead Arabs.
That is why it is easy to throw around terms like "no fly zones"
without equating it with dead people.

Is Herring talking about dead Arabs? How can you tell?

Why not write Fox News and ask them.... you could post their response
here....

Why not write NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN too?
