Take the broken belt to an autoparts store. They will measure the belt and
tell you the number. Bill "Jos" wrote in message ... i've got i broken v-belt. But i cannot read and do not know what the original specifications were of this belt. It's the belt from the ditribution to my alternator. I would like to know the specification (length, thicknes, type). So i can buy the right v-belts for my engine. The engine is a volvo penta 3.0 gs from 1996 ( this is a gm engine). thanks in advance Jos |
