Harry has downsized in the boat area and now he lives in the basement of the "missus'" house. You slugs must be discussing someone else, since I never had a 50-foot Hatteras, my wife is not a psychologist, and she's never earned enough to support me. I did own a 43-foot Hatteras for a while. She was berthed at two different marinas in St. Augustine, Florida. I do indeed have my home office in part of the finished basement of the house. BAR's office is in his car, which he uses to pick up computer pieces and parts for his employer and which serves as the home base of his two person right-wing birther movement. The other member is anonymous. Actually Harry my office is on the first floor of my house. My home office has a big beautiful bay window that provides a view of the outside world. I do not have to ascend a staircase to reach the front door. It is funny how every time you try and put me down it backfires. It must suck that my house is better than your house. My life is better than your life. |

My life is better than your life. Please, Bertie-Birther, you have no reason to try to play "Can you top this?" with me. My home office has its own entrance, plenty of windows, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and sink, a full bathroom, a guest seating area, custom bookcases, a mini recording studio, a storage room, and a lot more. I've had business meetings here with six other people at one time, and they all said they were "jealous" of my home office. What does your bay window look out at, Bertie-Birther? The street of your crowded little subdivision? My windows "look out" at the forest behind the house and to the sides of the house, and typically in the late afternoon, I can see deer, raccoons, foxes, and other critters sauntering by at the edge of the woods. |

You engage in the same sort of personal attacks as every other right-wing dip**** in the usenet universe. So, why are you whining about the behavior of others? Seems to me, HarryK, that you are guilty of a substantial PKB! LOL! Typical liberal, this HarryK, he accuses others of that which he is and does. Harry is such a hypocrite that he cannot even see the hypocrisy. This is why liberals are so roundly despised; liberals have no moral compass, their ethics are entirely lacking and they are elitists, thinking they are better than everybody else but this thinking is based upon ignorance as demonstrated by their closed minds and exclusive dependence upon the repetition of leftist propaganda. Wilbur Hubbard Wilbur, I've seen any number of your posts on the cruising newsgroup. I'm really *not* interested in playing with you and your gaggle of groupies or in seeing more photos of your decrepit little sailboat. I don't blame you for opting out - it's plain you aren't intellectually equipped to compete with the big boys. Seems to me I recall seeing a photo or two of your run-down motor boat parked in your driveway on the rec.boats picture forum. Laughable little thing, that! Wilbur Hubbard I don't recall which boat you are referring to, but if it was the SeaPro I owned at that time, it was a year old and in perfect shape. Since then I've owned a new 25' Parker, a new 21' Parker, and now own a new twin engine diesel powerboat. All my boats have been kept in immaculate condition. When I was into sailing, I never owned a sailboat as decrepit as that broken down p.o.s. you have. Move on, Wilbur. Go play with Wayne. He's the same sort of snarky ass you are. Bye. It was this ugly and tawdry thing: http://www.thebayguide.com/rec.boats...s/harry_02.jpg Nothing but a pollution machine. A waste of space. Wilbur Hubbard Ahh, my 25' Parker, worth about 20 times what that p.o.s. sailboat of yours is worth. Let me take a minute to calculate worth, Harry. Your boat just sits there doing nothing, taking up space. It "pays" you nothing - you only spend or spent money on it. My fine blue water yacht, on the other hand, is my home as well as my transportation and recreation. Because she is my home, I don't pay house payments or rent. I don't pay utilities and I don't pay taxes. I have lived aboard on the hook with no marina charges since 1987 on this very boat. Let's do the math. 1987 to 2011 is 24 years. If I had to pay rent and taxes and utilities and all the other lubberly costs I'd estimate that it would cost me at least $2,000 dollars a month. That is 24,000 dollars a year. 24 years times $24,000 equals 576,000 dollars. So, Harry, I have a boat that is worth more than half a million dollars to me by virtue of the money she saved me and she continues to save me money each and every month. Can you claim the same for your impractical, trailer anchor Parker? Wilbur Hubbard Keep saving another 20 years and the yellow banana will make you a millionaire. Yikes. Now you're catching on. ;-) What a dope. You saved yourself from being 576K in the hole. You have no stash. Otherwise you'd move out of that 28' floating coffin. Eh. Harry, did you know that some people actually ENJOY their boats? |

Pay attention or go to the back of the class. I already posted a link to several photos. My boat puts anything Harry might have to shame! Wilbur Hubbard I have a yellow plastic trash can that looks better than that derelict of yours. At least he has a boat, you don't. |
