I agree with you, basically. The issue is that cheaper isn't
necessarily better when it comes to the public welfare. That's why I
don't believe corporations can possibly do the right thing in that
regard... at least not without appropriate regulation and oversight.

Really? How's the "consumer" supposed to protect the environment from
Big Oil? Not buy their product after the "consumer" is dead from all

Sure... for products not for gov't. Last I checked he started a

That is why antitrust is so important, to insure we still have

Walmart also has their own house brand chainsaw bar oil for $9.99 a
gallon.

The little mom 'n pop hardware store down the road had OE name brand
Dolomar bar oil for $6.99 a gallon.
