That's because you are an actual Christian, unlike the sunshine christians here who talk about being christians. Another Snotty for the Harry ID spoofer. I've made my point very clear here. I hate Christians and all that they stand for. You've made that abundantly clear. The question is why do you think we care what you think? Because I am the king of this newsgroup. Everyone has to think exactly as I do, dislike what I dislike, like what I like. If not, I'll call you names, insult you and give you Snotties. |

Id tend to me more compassionate for the former reason than i would be the latter. How about it's neither and they're just looking for a better life? That you'd assume they're potential leaches speaks to our media and it's willingness to adopt that theme about immigrants, and your willingness to drink that nasty message. It's as shallow and false as Reagan's welfare mother poppin' out babies so she could collect enough to drive a caddy. Far from Christian. |

How about those fine Christians in congress who were refusing to stand with the poor schmucks who ran to ground zero to help and ended up sacraficing their own health and in many cases, lives. A good percentage of those folks who rushed to help are likely conservative and Christian. Left in the cold by Christians in congress who'd deny them support but use Christmas as a bludgeon to prevent the country from addressing 911, the Start Treaty and whatever else didn't put money in the pockets of the wealthy. Look up the dressing down that Shep Smith did on the Republican congress at Fox News. Finally calling a spade a spade. Immigrants who sneak over the border for a better life are now considered leaches when most work harder and longer hours than the lazy Americans they replace. |

Gosh...did I miss an opportunity to see a bit of reality on Scotty Ingersoll's news "source" network? Scotty is the one who says you can lead a selfish life and just before you die, find jesus. The first bit Shep Smith did with Chris Wallace and, although Smith said, addressing those in congress holding up the 911 bill, "how do you sleep at night," neither he nor Wallace ever referred to the Republicans as the guilty party. They characterized it in a way that anyone could have assumed it was a collection of both parties. Of course, if it were the Dems, you know that Fox News would have been all over it, spitting fire. Subsequently, Shep came out and did do a piece that detailed how the Republicans in congress were holding up the bill in order to "deal with the more important issue of the tax cuts" before they'd agree to a vote on the 911 bill. Frankly, without Jon Stewart and Shep Smith doing some expose on this bunch of skanks in congress (that happily use Christmas as a bludgeoning tool), the 911 bill might never have been addressed. Fox News has one journalist with at least one ball. He'd better be careful though, Snotty's army could take this dereliction of duty very seriously and maybe put a cap in his ass. |
