Parker 2530 Extended Cabin Posted on December 09, 2010 parker_insideParker rigged a 2530 Extended Cabin with a 6-cylinder Yanmar diesel coupled to Yanmar's ZT350 sterndrive (with a hydraulic clutch) and bolted to an Armstrong bracket. Parker thought a diesel option would open new markets. One potential customer is the offshore angler seeking more range, which is double that of the outboard configuration. The diesel sterndrive should appeal to boaters who are interested in downsizing while retaining the efficiency and reliability of diesel power, Parker says. The specially designed boat will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
