These are nothing more than aircraft contrails near the horizon seen almost straight on. Spend any time on the water and you'll see such many times. The weirdest illusion I ever saw was a UFO that followed my sailboat one very cold night in the Gulf of Mexico. I absolutely believe, truly, that UFO's follow you. Really, I do. :) UFOs give me all my ideas although sometimes I listen to my Rice Krispies too. A buddy and I saw a UFO in the night sky many, many years ago while driving from Topeka to Great Bend, Kansas. It was one of those beautiful, clear, cold nights, with no reflections from any man-made sources, a true starry, starry night. The lights we saw were way up there, and exhibiting non-ballistic behavior. The next day, on the news, it turned out we were not the only ones who saw it. This was in the 1960's. |
