Default Boating Anyone?

Looks like tomorrow will be a reasonable day on the Sound, so we've made
plans to go out. I've made arrangements to haul the boat the end of next
week.

Nice to see an improvement in the atmosphere around here, although
apparently some of the usual suspects are still misbehaving by insulting
other posters or by ID spoofing. Still, it is better than it was, hey,
fellas?

Definitely better than it was and I believe you were one of the
catalysts for that. Good job. Let's everyone help to keep up the
new and improved tone.

We're thinking Sunday will be the day here. A little cool at about 70
degrees, but calm and sunny.

I need to pull mine and have it serviced for the winter. It's time
for the second service on the outboard, then it goes right back in the
water. We'll have nice weekends that allow us to go out occasionally
until the spring, then I'll pull it out again and have the 'toons
pressure-washed and be ready for summer!

"Boating Anyone? "

Nope. Not now.
Great "Indian Summer" weather temps, but no water.

And it was. A little cloudy at times but in the 70's all day. Caught
about a dozen Bass, more Peacock Bass, and the occasional Oscar, Gar,
and Bowfin.

I crabbed a week ago on opening weekend, and Monday my mom passed away
peacefully. She lived a good long life. 3 weeks short of 96 years. Rather
amazing from the fact that when she was born a tiny, skinny baby in 1914
the doctor figured she was not going to live and did not file a birth
certificate. Nice to come back here and see some civility.

My condolences on the loss of your mom. Sounds like she did have a full life.

Thank you. She was ready to go a couple years ago. The dementia, etc, over
the last 9 months was hard to watch.

My condolences to you and your family.
We just celebrated my mom's 96th birthday on the 5th. That day was also the
1st anniversary of my wife's mother passing.
