We've eaten there a half dozen times. Everything is good. Had the best
fried oysters of my life there last week.

I thought non-boating posts were to be titled as such?

Take a pill, Panty Goddess.

Fried Oysters...something I've never had.

When cooked properly, they have a light and delicate taste. If not
cooked properly, they are heavy and chewy. I don't like raw oysters, but
I do like raw cherrystone clams. Unfortunately, hepatitis is a risk in
eating raw shellfish. You do not want hepatitis.

Jerry, the owner of Jerry's Place, has promised to get in some fresh
Ipswich clams to make fried whole belly clams, one of my very favorite
seafood dishes. It's not easy to find the dish south of New England.

I know fellows from Newfoundland that told me the ONLY way to check if
the Scallops are fresh is to eat them raw. Don't think I could. He
said the fresh ones taste sweet.

Hepetitis? Is that something common with shell fish?

There is a connection between raw shellfish and hepatitis:

He forgot to say he gets it to go and takes it out on the boat?

As far as I am concerned, "seafood" is on topic in rec.boats, as are
recipes.

Then why did you used to whine so much about recipes.
