Three stabbings, no one dead. Too bad they didn't have a guns, eh? Three men were stabbed just before 8 p.m. Wednesday near Seattle's Victor Steinbrueck Park, according to police. A short while later, police arrested three possible suspects in the attack. All three suspects had previous criminal records and were on active Department of Corrections Supervision, according to Jeff Kappel, Seattle Police spokesman. Last night I was watching one of those Disorderly Conduct/Cops shows where a pulled over driver attacked a cop. The cop and his partner emptied their guns as the bad guy fled... not one bullet out of at least a dozen hit the guy........ and this is by trained police officers. |

I've only seen one or two shooting paper targets at 25 yards, which is the distance at which I shoot pistols at paper targets, empty soda bottles, empty beer cans, et cetera. Oh...and the cops are moving up to .40 S&W, which is a bit humorous, because most of them can't handle a 9 mm with much accuracy. May not be relevant, though, if all you encounter is a slug like Scott Ingersoll. You just have to push him down the stairs and give a good tug on his ponytail as he slips by... :) |

We recently had a real Doctor, not one of the pretend NG kind, in our town kill his wife by bashing her head in with a hammer. Million dollar house, good practice and wife confronted him about dithering the help. He snapped. Would he have used a gun if he had one? maybe, but he didn't need to, he used a weapon that was handy. In all the arguments, I've yet to hear any of the anti-gun people address how they are going to take away criminals guns. One mentioned that the guns would eventually become useless? Anyone that has ever wiped oil on a piece of metal knows how stupid that argument is. Remember when the anti-gun rocket scientists came up with the idea that you could only defend yourself with a weapon similar to your attackers or less damaging? I guess to make it fair for the house breaker, rapist, murderer, car jacker, psychopath, mugger, scumbag attacker. The people that dream this crap up should try and leave fairy tale land once in a while. They should go hug a gang banger and see how that works out. I'd buy tickets to see that. |
