They have been changing. The current GOP isn't anything like it was
in the 60's.

The GOP began turning to the far right in the mid-1960s, as it embraced
its southern strategy, to attract southern white democrats who were no
longer happy with their traditional party because it began expunging
racists and racism. The GOP opened its doors to southern white racists.

You stupid dumfoch, show me where I ever said my wife had 3 Dr. degrees.
I told everyone about her MD degree and then have been talking about
she will soon be receiving her PhD for the last 5 years. I have always
talked about her Dr. Dr. title, I never talked about a Dr. Dr. Dr.
title. I never said she was getting 2 PhD's, you just don't have the
ability to understand that "soon" is not a definitely time frame.
