Distributor coils and resistors

Just asking a quick question
My engines are 351 -Fords. I bought 2 new mallory distributors. The coils are collapsing (no fire)
Through mallory I can buy the coil and resistor separate or can I put in a coil with a bult in resisitor?

I'd say to use an internal resistor coil, but I might be wrong. Those
were mainly used on electronic ignition. But they'd probably work and
take another piece out of the equasion.

Are these Mallory Unilite distributors? If so, Mallory makes a
compatible round, OEM-style coils, and also firewall mount high
performance coils, including one specifically for marine use. You can
see them at Jegs.com and other sites.
