Had an old "Old Town" fg canoe sitting on the dock for way too long and no
one using it so put it in Craigslist.
2 e-mails by 8am and a guys showed up about 10 with the $100. Tossed in
jackets and paddles so he and the fam can use it this weekend.
Nice people and made me feel good.
Craigslist beats the heck out of the overpriced newspaper ads that were
always wrong. Guess that's why the "classified ads" in FL Today have dried
up.

Yup.
Kijiji seems to be more popular up here.
The local newspaper got a bit goofy with their classified ad pricing.

Yeah, seems like FL Today and Trader magazine would rather dry up and blow
away than adjust to the market.
Rather keep the prices up than be competitive and make it up with volume. In
the old days they were (except for the laundry mat bulletin board;}) about
the only place to advertise and they have kept that attitude in a changing
market.

It's a bitch to pay $20 to sell a $25 item, ain't it. I love Craigslist.

Me too. I've bought two homes, three cars, two travel trailers, one
utility trailer, ass't computer stuff, used furniture, (for the
weekend house), 6 motorcycles, one golf cart, one two-seat off-road go
kart, and finally to keep it on topic, my Regal 277XL Commodore.
