Took the boat to Pohick Bay yesterday, after noticing how well the
new cover is
working out. Some very heavy rain got my neighboring boat's cover
over the past
couple weeks. He is now a believer in the use of tight straps rather
than bungee
cords for keeping his cover taut.

Daughter, SIL, and grandkids arrived at the launch ramp about the
same time I
did, so no one had to wait. With three adults and four little ones,
the boat was
pretty full. The Yamaha 150 had no problem getting us moving though.

I might even have a new boat captain in the making...

We got to a little boaters beach outside Occoquan, VA, anchored and
let the kids
start running around.

The kids wanted to do some tubing, which I'd never tried before.
This was the
tube I got last fall. Worked well, and they had a blast. The picture
takers kept
using the zoom, so most of the tubing shots didn't come out. Here's
my daughter
having fun...

Great time had by all!

Wow, looks like you all had a great time... Wish I could get my boat
out
this season, haven't had time yet...

Have you built the boat yet?
Oh yeah... you couldn't unload that green monster, eh?
You should be the last person here to make fun of other people's boats.
When you finish painting, try to build one and share your results.

Harry tried to bring down a nice thread. Couldn't expect Don to do any

What nice thread? Is herring referring to another of his grandkid
galleries?

Spoofer alert! The real Harry would accuse Herring of molesting his
grandkids because he has fun with them. Like Tosk.

Best $30K you ever spent, I sure. Those rear seats are cool as hell!

And, they come out. For fishing, I take them out, leave them in the car or
garage. The mounting holes are the same size and configuration as rod holders,
without the angle. Gives me eight rod holders in that little 18'er. I like the
boat more and more each time I use it, now that I've got the ground wire tight!

Well, it's the perfect tool for your needs, obviously... Keep posting
those reports, great to see the kids having so much fun.
