Right wingers? You mean plain stupid people. Creationism is a
farce to
keep small minds occupied. Evolution is real and all physical
evidence
points to evolution pure and simple. Right from a fish to human.

There is no science in creationism.

This teacher needs to be so fired.

The crux of the flaw in religion is the myopic literal scope in
which
the flea minds interpretation of the bible.

2000+ years ago how do you explain to a crowd of illiterate
monkeys
things like evolution, disease, civilization and the meaning
of good
versus evil and why it is important for society to have moral
codes?

Both can exist if in context.

7 days to God, ok, is that 7 days to us? Hardly. We asume it be
one in
the same from our ignorance and arrogance. Say 6000 years to
god is
6
billion year to us. And the evolutionary process itself is
creation.
How do you explain that to a neanderthal ape that can't read, net
vocabulary of say 1500 words?

Another good one is virginity and monogamy. What a better way to
control venereal disease? Would people 2000 years ago understand
VD?
Bet VD wiped out large cities if they were not monogamous enough.

Can't believe people who think the earth is only 6000 years old,
just
sheep looking to be led by a self proclaimed idiot.

Hey! Something you and Harry finaly agree on!

:LOL!

What about you, Tim? You down with the 6000 year old earth and 7
days?

Doesn't really matter what I think, now does it?

?;^ )

Gee...so the 12,000 year old temple found in Turkey, I believe, must
have been built on another planet and then teleported here.

Show me someone who takes the bible literally and I'll show you
someone
suffering from a serious mental disorder.

Ok.

Now he's turned his wrath on you, probably the most honest,
sincerest and
helpful poster in this group. No one that has any beliefs that do not
agree with what he believes is dirt. His way or the highway.

Whata guy....

It's the last ditch effort of the atheist or agnostic... Arrogance and
false superiority seem to be the religion of the non believer...

Sorry, bubs, but the basis of "organized religion" is nothing more
than the many attempts of man to explain what he cannot understand,
mixed in with some history and plenty of folk tales. Some of
"organized religion" provides reasonable rules for mankind to live by,
but, at the same time, many of the rules have been bent and are still
being bent to serve the "mean spirit" of some of mankind. And there
are so many contradictions in the holy books!

As a writer, I've always been perplexed by the fact that jesus,
supposedly the son of the creator, didn't, wouldn't, and possibly
couldn't write. That just makes no sense. Supposedly he was literate,
an itinerant rebbe, as it were, and therefore knowledgeable about the
holy books of his time and capable of reading and reciting from them.
So, how come there isn't a scrap of parchment, paper, tablet, in his
hand. If there was a jesus and if he was the "son of," then he should
have been the greatest writer who ever lived.

My conclusion in regard to religion is this...there may or may not be
a creator. I don't know and I never will, and neither will anyone else.

Who asked and who gives a **** what you believe?

Speaking of Dumb-Dumber-Dumbest, Herring, can you find a legitimate
quote in which Obama says he takes the bible literally?
