My old Teva water shoes wore out in May and I really needed some new
ones but I simply could not find them easily here so I bought some
Dockers that seemed similar. No doubt, Teva wins hands down. The
Dockers after one month are NASTY. The Tevas seem to have some sort
of silver compound in the material that resists bacteria whereas the
Dockers just STINK. The Dockers soles are also wearing rapidly.

I have several pair of TEVA sandals, and find they are worth the money.

I have a pair of the faux leather Tevas from 2000. Stitching is shot,
but they are still the most comfortable and non smelling of the TEVA's I
have had. Early Teva's maybe 1986 never smelled. But the newer ones most
all get a stink to them. Google Teva stink and you will see a huge
database of stink.

I'll take your word for it...besides, all the stink anyone needs is
found right here in the posts of herring, flajim, et al. :)

My wife throws my tevas in the washing machine every couple of weeks.
Actually, she says they walk in on their own.
