Default This just in

In article , LarryG@

Probably, but a decent guy would have offered to call a tow truck or
something...15 years ago, cell phones weren't that common.

In the 1950s, my dad's employees would deliver boat rigs to a popular
beach where there was pass-through between two old hotels direct to
the water. Once in a while, the jeep they used would bury its wheels
up to the hubs in the sand. When that happened, plenty of guys would
come over to help out.

Obviously, these volunteers weren't "jackgoffs."

Another lovely "my Dad" story!

Notice that all of these stories are about Harry's dad and how people
were willing to help Harry's dad.

You never hear stories about people willing to help Harry out of the
goodness of their hearts. But, you will hear about people helping Harry
at full retail cost.
