They sat on their thumbs also you know. Each recent administration has spent a lot more money than the previous administration on tightening up the border. It hasn't changed anything. The economy downturn has had some effect. -- "In no part of the constitution is more wisdom to be found, than in the clause which confides the question of war or peace to the legislature, and not to the executive department." - James Madison |

Flawed it may be, but it IS a plan - which is considerably more than whatever the current administration is up to. Just because there is a plan doesn't mean the plan is better than no plan. Look at all the plans the other side has made to solve all of the problems. Whichever side you identify with, you can point to some plans which have, in your opinion, done more harm than good. Bad plans abound in government. How about lynching homeowners who hire workers standing around Lowe's to work with them at fixing their roofs? They don't *know* those hires are illegal - in fact the odds are good that they aren't illegal. But that's the same thing with businessmen who don't spend a lot of money verifying the papers of those they hire. Ignorance of the facts is an excuse under law. If the homeowner doesn't KNOW they're illegals, he's blameless. OK. Then every person looking for even a temporary job needs to have his papers with him. Including your teen-age child or grandchild. We certainly don't want to make it harder for the poor citizens to get jobs, so create a bureaucracy to provide trustable IDs showing their right to work. -- "In no part of the constitution is more wisdom to be found, than in the clause which confides the question of war or peace to the legislature, and not to the executive department." - James Madison |

Gringos can barely manage the existing 50 miles of walls and fence .. and you want to build ... 800 more ? LOL ... You white folks are big dreamers ... but in reality you are too cheap to actually get anything done and maintain it. Big speeches , big promises from the politicians who have support of business *not* to build a wall. Your system is as corrupt as Mexico .. the sad part is YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT *FACTS* . PS . Thank you for your wonderful health care and public schools. |
