Looks sort of like the old tire bubble balancer. But no level on the
top.

Because I don't do any mechanical work of any kind, even though I've
taken mechanical engineering courses, I shouldn't know what that is.
BUT, I watched my mechanic doing the maintenence on my push lawnmower.
That object is to balance the lawn mower blade after sharpening.

I am not sure which Harry this is but the answer is right.

I'm curious - how do you balance a blade after sharpening?

Well I'll be danged - never thought of balancing the blade after
sharpening.

http://www.amazon.com/MaxPower-33907.../dp/B000FJTVSI

Never mind. :)

I didn't know there was a do-dad for home handymen to use.
I always balance my blades on a screwdriver shaft. It the two sides can
point east & west, I've taken the right amount off each side.

Never really had blades sharpened to tell the truth. I put a new set
of blades on every Spring - they last all summer into the Fall and I
change them again.

I can see why you would have to balance the blade after sharpening,
I've just never had to do it.

One of those...

It's bad on the grass to cut it with a dull blade...gives it jagged
edges, frizzies so to speak. Hell, it takes only ten minutes to hit the blade
with a file, unless you've got one of those lawnmowers like what's his name with
three or four blades to cut your five acres.,

Sounds like you should get a good pair of scissors and cut the blades
individually. I might cut my grass for the third time this season
tomorrow, or I may just go to the track with The Mouse again

I've thought about getting out there with a pair of scissors and cutting the
blades to points. That would be cool.

In your case, the track sounds good. Do it, and take some video. When you're
making the video, let us know what number she is.

Do not fail at this task, Tosk.

Maybe I will take some today. We are doing some final prep for our
return to our old racing circuit this weekend. Hopefully, we got
something for 'em this season they don't expect

Good luck and ride safe (or as safe as possible!).

Something you shouldn't sit on so much!

Leave it for you to know. A de-plumer butt plug.

Leave it to the plum to have another use for the thing.

So you admit you are into weird anal activities? Now that's ****ed up!

It was a suggestion for an anal-retentive like John and you.

Dumb.

I could just walk two blocks over and get a professional to sharpen my
blade, but they want $10.00 or so.

Damn. Serious cash, eh?

Deny what?

YOU didn't deny that you are into weird anal activities. Care to try
again or are we going to hear crickets?
