This is the other of two neighboring beaches where I misspent my summers
from the time I was 4 until I left the New Haven area for college.

I recently came across this photo. It's a recent one. The interesting
part is the summer cottages for the most part are the same ones that
were there when I was there. Everything looks the same to me. My dad
rented a cottage there for about 10 years, and a similar but smaller
cottage at the nearby beach for five or six years. Most of the cottages
at the other beach are still there, too.

These cottages were built mostly from the end of the Victorian era
through the Great Depression.

I wish I were aging as well. :?)
