Yes to naval but two thumbs down for the queen. Americans did that

I highly reccommend a tour of the USS Wasp. The US LHD and LHA class
ships are amazing. The well deck is a sight to behold when it is full of
LVT's or LCAC's.

If the weather is good (and the reports are favourable) I wouldn't mind

To add to interesting events this & next week..... the local 'Native
Americans' are holding the biggest Pow Wow ever held in Atlantic Canada.
They have seven giant wigwams among a large number of tents set up on the
Commons in the center of the city. This is all to celebrate the 400th
anniversary of their Great Chief's conversion to Catholicism in 1610. The
Queen will attend the festivities next week while in Halifax.

I heartily disapprove of overly righteous modern, self-proclaimed
christians who force or try to force their beliefs on others with
different beliefs. These are for the most part not catholics.

No phobia.... just like lots of elbow room.
That's one of the things I like about this province...less than a million

In fact, the four Atlantic Provinces all together only total about 2 million
people.

You going to go take a look around?

Normally I avoid crowds...but this might be worthwhile.
If the weather is good (and the reports are favourable) I wouldn't mind
doing my own little review of the fleet in the Princecraft Yukon.

Agoraphobic?

No phobia.... just like lots of elbow room.
That's one of the things I like about this province...less than a million
people in total.
In fact, the four Atlantic Provinces all together only total about 2
million people.

So why are you squashed together into 3000SF house lots?

What? Splash before July 4? What's come over you?

What's so special about July 4??

It's independance day in these United States of course.

So...what's that got to do with me?

BTW.. it isn't all play....... the fleets conducted naval exercises before

We also get to check out a couple of supply ships that we may be interested
in. USS Fort George is one example and an interesting ship from Denmark.
Ours are approaching 50 years old.

Exciting week for anyone interested in naval affairs.

CoolQ I don't know anythign about Canadian politics or prime
ministers, but I hope he has some good words of encouragement
to the
crew. Same way with Lizzie. I'm suprised she can still get around.

Yes. the British Prime Minister did thank the crew for representing
Britain
at the fleet Review 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy this
weekend.
I understand this Saturday is some kind of armed forces day over
there.http://halifaxifr.ca/en/home/tabid/61/default.aspx

Ship tours schedule announced

"During the IFR several foreign and Canadian ships will be open for
tours including the HMS ARK ROYAL and USS WASP. Visit the ship tours
schedule for more info...."

You going to go take a look around?

Normally I avoid crowds...but this might be worthwhile.
If the weather is good (and the reports are favourable) I wouldn't
mind doing my own little review of the fleet in the Princecraft Yukon.
Agoraphobic?

No phobia.... just like lots of elbow room.
That's one of the things I like about this province...less than a
million people in total.
In fact, the four Atlantic Provinces all together only total about 2
million people.

You must have some aversion to crowds other than "elbow room". Ever been
to a concert or sporting event?

Guess not.

When I went o to sporting events or concerts, I was a guest in my
brother-in-laws 'Sky Box'
Lots of room, drinks & food.

Uh, oh, little buddy. You need to call out your own typo there to save
face. But, I like the fact that you are getting to lie about things as
much as me. I'm too cultured and refined to sit with the riff-raff at a
sporting event too. I rent the sky box condos.
