Exciting week for anyone interested in naval affairs.

CoolQ I don't know anythign about Canadian politics or prime
ministers, but I hope he has some good words of encouragement
to the
crew. Same way with Lizzie. I'm suprised she can still get
around.

Yes. the British Prime Minister did thank the crew for
representing
Britain
at the fleet Review 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy this
weekend.
I understand this Saturday is some kind of armed forces day over
there.http://halifaxifr.ca/en/home/tabid/61/default.aspx

You going to go take a look around?

Normally I avoid crowds...but this might be worthwhile.
If the weather is good (and the reports are favourable) I wouldn't
mind doing my own little review of the fleet in the Princecraft
Yukon.
Agoraphobic?

No phobia.... just like lots of elbow room.
That's one of the things I like about this province...less than a
million people in total.
In fact, the four Atlantic Provinces all together only total about 2
million people.
You must have some aversion to crowds other than "elbow room". Ever
been
to a concert or sporting event?
Guess not.

When I went o to sporting events or concerts, I was a guest in my
brother-in-laws 'Sky Box'
Lots of room, drinks & food.

Uh, oh, little buddy. You need to call out your own typo there to save
face. But, I like the fact that you are getting to lie about things as
much as me. I'm too cultured and refined to sit with the riff-raff at a
sporting event too. I rent the sky box condos.

I don't have to rent anything spoofer, I was always a pampered guest.

Good job! Now embelish your lies with a little story to go with it, it
makes them more believable! Like this:

My father took a runabout across the Atlantic and back in February. He
came home to a fireboat welcome in New York City. It's a good thing that
he had seven very large bilge pumps, because the amount of water that
that fireboat was showering that little runabout with would have surely
sunk it.

What remains of "Lucas" is no more Lucas than AT&T is AT&T or Evinrude
is Evinrude. The three corporations some might remember favorably or not
died or were sold off in pieces, and the new corporations that use those
names simply bought the names.

Yeah, about 20 years ago, an Italian firm called Magnetti Mirelli
bought a couple of Lucas assembly plants in England. That was like
two drunks tying themselves together to see if they could stagger
straight.

Now some of Lucas has been bought out by the premium company, Nippon
Denso. That's like Rockwell Int'l buing out Briggs & Stratton. A lot
of 'Denso' products are still the same crappy Lucas design.

I'm still trying to figure that one out.

A few years ago, there were some late model F series U.S. fighter jets
equipped for the Navy that were grounded due to faulty guidance
systems built by Lucas Aeronautics.

The Prince of Darkness struck again!
