Apparently, you think this is funny and can be taken lightly. The CDC says
contact with this chemical brew floating in the water and air in the gulf
can cause damage to the central nervous system and do damage to blood,

most of the people that live close enough to smell this mess are at risk,
too.

If my family was there, they'd be headed to safety.

Does this mean that workers on drill rigs that are constantly exposed
to oil are at risk? I am sure that if you swallowed enough it'd keeel
ya but most smart peeps dont do that.
BP has done FL a big favor in running off all the tourists, good
riddance.

Yes, they are. Just like house painters tend to have long-term health
problems.

Hee hee we'll see how much you like seeing your tax bill increase to make
up for all the lost revenue.

I don't think the tourists were coming this year anyways.

Was just in BC Vancover Island 3 weeks ago, place should have been abuzz
with empty nesters beating the main summer rush....

It is weird being in a hotel of 160 rooms and only 3 visitors.

Unemployment is so bad, punks roam in packs looking for out of province
plates to key scrach their hoods. Nothing better to do. I hear this is
really bad in Surrey.

Roads, clear as it gets. Even noticed fewer trucks/semi on the road.
Idled mills all over. Slowest I have ever seen the business, even
slower than it was in 1981. Didn't even see one logging truck.

Looking at the US Congress projections for tax revenue, they think it
will double in the next 2 years. Betcha after November if democriters
have their way some huge tax increases are coming. Maybe even a nation
10% VAT.... after all... big debt-spending Obama bills are pilling up.

This is sort of like taking too much drugs. You take a load, feel bad
so you take more. I wonder if Obama will ever figure out you can't
debt-spend your way out of debt and a debt depression.

This depression is about liberal magots running debt liberally.
