Certainly the clean-up workers are at risk. I suspect most of the people that live close enough to smell this mess are at risk, too. If my family was there, they'd be headed to safety. In reality, this is not much diff from the exhaust from your average two cycle outboard motor. Feel free to stick your big mouth over the tailpipe of one if you think it's ok. |

If I was a bit closer to the spill, I'd put a couple big trash cans in my boat and a scoop net and go bag me some tar balls or even some oil. At $100/bbl it wouldn't take much to pay for a trip. They ought to put a bounty on it. All those fishermen could be paid to take their nets and go net some tar balls. BP could pay em by the volume (actually I'd use some formula basd on density compared to water to avoid paying for water). BP would then take the collected oil and send it to the refinery. Dont laugh too much cuz local fishermen have been collecting cannonball jellyfish to be dried and sold to the Japanese and I bet most aged tar balls are less oozy than a jellyfish. Jeez... you really are stupid! Do you realize you spend 99% of your time on rec.boats conversing with morons, idiots, and stupid people. I guess that tells us a lot about you, doesn't it? Are you really an idiot? Why do you think I'm here 99% of the time? I guess that tells us lots about some dumb spoofer called wiley, who isn't. |

Does this mean that workers on drill rigs that are constantly exposed to oil are at risk? I am sure that if you swallowed enough it'd keeel ya but most smart peeps dont do that. BP has done FL a big favor in running off all the tourists, good riddance. Hee hee we'll see how much you like seeing your tax bill increase to make up for all the lost revenue. |

I don't think the tourists were coming this year anyways. Was just in BC Vancover Island 3 weeks ago, place should have been abuzz with empty nesters beating the main summer rush.... It is weird being in a hotel of 160 rooms and only 3 visitors. Unemployment is so bad, punks roam in packs looking for out of province plates to key scrach their hoods. Nothing better to do. I hear this is really bad in Surrey. Roads, clear as it gets. Even noticed fewer trucks/semi on the road. Idled mills all over. Slowest I have ever seen the business, even slower than it was in 1981. Didn't even see one logging truck. Looking at the US Congress projections for tax revenue, they think it will double in the next 2 years. Betcha after November if democriters have their way some huge tax increases are coming. Maybe even a nation 10% VAT.... after all... big debt-spending Obama bills are pilling up. This is sort of like taking too much drugs. You take a load, feel bad so you take more. I wonder if Obama will ever figure out you can't debt-spend your way out of debt and a debt depression. -- This depression is about liberal magots running debt liberally. |

Read carefully this time. It really isn't hard. |
