However, we all managed o get in some good snorkelling and Jared (my daughters bf) caught a good Mahi Mahi (Dolfin) while trolling under sail along a weed line in 300' of water, great dinner for two nights. Wandered all over Grand Bahama Island and met a lot of people. The trip will resume in November with a trip to the Berry Islands from Freeport and then on to Nassau. Instead of flying back to Fort Lauderdale, we caught the ship MV Discovery at Freeport for $140 each, a 5 hour trip complete with free drinks, and very good food, who needs airplanes? Maybe you should make a bee line over to the gulf coast and see what's up over there. Your little oil spill seems to have gotten out of control. How appropriate that God would punish stupid assholes in the gulf who haven't the brains to fight against greedy, profit-driven oil companies. Too bad for all that pristine coastline and the wildlife that survived there for millennia. Multinational corporations should have the right to **** our planet and all its inhabitants in the name of profit, right? You short-sighted assholes now will deal with the comeuppance. Enjoy. And what powers your car, truck, boat motor, the electricity to run your equipment? The plastic in your equipment? Oil from Venezuela. They don't spill their oil in the gulf of Mexico nor in sensitive US habitats. How would you like it if a platform took a dive just outside San Franciso bay and the oil drited inland? Would you sell your car or ask WTF are you idiots doing? |
