That third pic.

That's quite a view.

?;^ )

Looks like the view from 1500 feet. That was a common altitude for helicopters
as AK's were not effective against one flying that high.. (At least that's what
I was told.)

That guy's wearing the same crappy helmet, and the same crappy
headset. I wonder how effective that .30 carbine from WW2 would be at
1500 ft?

probably more so if you dropped it instead of firing it.

I 'spect it's more effective shooting down than shooting up!

I'm surprised to see the old carbine. I'd paid no attention to his weapon the
first time through. By the time I got there, 1969, the M-16s were the latest
rage.

Stupid wars for munitions manufacturers.

They should have just used low yield nukes. LBJ should have just called
them up and said you have 24 hours to evacuate North Vietnam or we nuke
it. Drop one then one every 4 hours if they are fighting. If the
leaders are in Hanoi, make it a parking lot.

Trouble is, like Afganistan and Iraq, politicians don't have the guts to
finish what they started. And UN, about as useless as a ****.

Will be just like Vietnam when Americans leave. 30-60 days and
Afganistan will have it's next crop of dictators, drugs planted and a
radical Islam puppet at the top.

Oh, and the people who help Americans, they will have their heads cut off.

BTW, I am no sympathizer of Muslim/Islam. I would have juke nuked
Bagdad leaving it as a reminder of 9/11.

I am sure after Bagdad is history, Afganistan, Pakistand and others
would turn over the Taliban. Might even ask how you want Osama.

Caught some big ones there John.

Are you going to get them stuffed and mounted or just let them flop
around in the bottom of the boat for a while?
