It's supposed to be about 81 degrees here friday and the days are
getting longer so after work, the 18 ft. Chris Craft will be hitting the drink at approx 6:30 PM. That'll give a couple hrs of lapping the lake before it starts getting cold. I'd go saturday but the temps are going to be in the low 60's for a high and in the 40's at night. Yeah, gas is now $3.00 a gallon but I can't stand it any longer. II've already had the small boat out and put it on the muffs and checked it over and all seems well. It's time to hit some water. |

I still have the licensing issues to deal with on the pontoon, but it will be hitting the drink before the 4th of July. High fuel or not, this is the year to boat.. at least for me and mine it is. |

Tornado watch though centeral Illinois, high southern winds, some rain, cold front moved in and this morning about 50 degrees. This afternoon and afternoon and evening, too much stuff to do and tomorrow is busy and doesn't look good either. Double Drats! Oh well...... |

Life is too short to go boating in bad weather unless you really have to. We had a windy, rainy day in paradise yesterday but not much choice for us since we're still about 1,400 miles from home. It all evens out though since today is just about perfect. PS, it looks like we may bypass St Croix on the way back unless you tell me I have a package there. |
