Apparently, rec.boats' "Frogwatch" was not consulted. According to
Frogwatch, the spill is no big deal.

Moron.

Where was Obama while the oil was gushing out of the well? Playing golf?
Banging his mistress? Or figuring out how to kill of private industry?

Obama and his administration were missing from the Gulf of Mexico to
assess and take action to stem the flow of oil from the worst oil spill
in US history. And yes this is Obama's oil spill and disaster.

That's just plain intellectually false on the right's part. The Coast
Guard was there almost immediately and Obama said ON THE FIRST DAY
that the Dept. of Defense was at their disposal.

Still here with the everything Obama is good, everything Bush is bad
**** huh? This is Obama's mess now, but I bet he will still blame it on
Bush soon enough. Funny I notice Harry hasn't said much about the so
called "elite" Union workers who ****ed up and killed 11 of their
brothers and caused what will soon be the worst disaster in history...
The preliminary reporst show that someone was not watching the signs.
The expert I heard stated clearly that all they do know is this didn't
happen without warning, maybe the guy watching the guages was on work
slow down or a break and the next guy over couldn't look at his screen
or he would get fired for "stealing a mans job" snerk Anyway, Obama
and his Unions are doing their best to destroy and take over anything
they can. You watch, when this is all over, the Unions will hold the
majority of the board, just like GM... The explosion was probably not an
accident, remember, now Obama doesn't have to keep that pesky promise a
couple of weeks back to drill more...

Later dudes, time to hit the Gym. More good racin' today, it was
awesome...

Oh, good God. Go ahead then, please do tell, what is similar with
this, a man-made disaster and Katrina, a natural disaster? Bush was
warned of Katrina several DAYS in advance and did NOTHING. How in hell
could Obama had predicted an oilwell would blow up?

Look, we know you are really stupid, and that you don't read much beyond
your Palinized news, but...

1. The U.S. Coast Guard, the first-response agency in these
circumstances, was on the spot shortly after the explosion.
Unfortunately, at first, BP lied to the Coast Guard about conditions
underwater. There was no delay, despite the attempts of the Republicans
trying to convince the mindless there were.

2. There's been nothing in any responsible media claiming the U.S.
government plans to "take over" the oil industry because of this disaster.

3. There's been no in-depth investigation of the causes of the
explosion, so your claim that "no one was watching" is just more of your
ill-informed and ignorance-based bull****.

Lemme see. Obama could have predicted the oilwell would blow up
because Bush didn't spend the first ten days looking for someone to
blame? You DO realize that there certainly IS blame in a man made
disaster, don't you? And you do realize that Bush sat with his thumbs
up his ass while Katrina was barreling towards NOLA don't you? DAYS
before it hit, they were predicting just that scenario, and Bush did
nothing. There was no way in hell that Obama could predict that an
oilwell would rupture. Two completely different types of events. What
industry is Obama "taking over" and how?
