That was good! To the point, I like the satirial humor he has. In
Canada he would be called a baby killing anti-christ for suggesting
smaller government. But it is a coming. Wish our government controlled
media up here would put on his show.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8518438.stm

So how is the government making ends meet? Scary, but they just create
the money on the Federal reserve and loan it back to themselves. How
long that will go on is anyones guess, but the results are historiccally
hyper-inflationary.

The Chinese Yuan is strong, and being pegged to the USD helps prop up
the USD. Think, China has more control over US currency than does
Obama, the price of debt worship.

While technically I think the situation can be reversed, factoring in
politics and the lack of reality of the masses of voters, might as well
plan for the worst and hope the leftist big spenders come to grips with
reality. USA is broke.

You can't get HBO?

How do they stop the satellite?

Not legally.

You can, just by getting them to send the bill to a US address. Once
the DirecTV people figure your in Canada, they will not deal with you.

But I prefer the Internet as even the US news has liberalism and pro
statism in it. On the Internet you get it raw and uncooked. Much
harder for bull****ers to keep dirt off the interent than off the TV.

Good example was the recent GM buy out of loans. The real story is GM
is losing $4.8 billion and needed more taxpayer debt funded cash. So
they issued preferred shares for lots of taxpayer debt funded cash the
government paid to GM for the preferred shares no one else in the world
would buy. Then GM took part of the money and gave it back to the
governemnt to wipe out the loan.

This is like paying one credit card with another and taking extra cash
out in the process. Total net debt losses are up. Fancy way to pork GM
with more money but look like a rose. Turd polishing.

Media got sucked right in hook line an sinker. Not much real journalism
these days.

it's funny. he doesn't even know that the canadian govt has proposed a
20% cut in expenditures. something that americans would never go for
because it reeks of 'centralized govt' making decisions.

the anti-big govt factor works in both spending AND cutting govt.

Dream on. Obama is headed to hold the two top debtor spots in Amrican
history, 2009 and 2010. Even congress needs to double taxes or Obama
might hold the 4 top years of debt-spend.

notice he says nothing about the FACTS:

-unemployment is down
-housing market has stablized
-economy is growing

and our debt position was worse after ww2 than it is now.

AND he admits that HIS view would lead to MASSIVE unemployment...but
he doesnt care...after all, the rich would be protected

but he's an economic cripple

National Review? That should tell you it is BS. Jean Chrétien was part
of ad-scam, theft of government moneys. So crooked many said he lied
out of both sides of his mouth in two languages at the same time. Paul
Martian can after, just wanted to make sure his Canada Steam Ships tax
loophole was kept open.

Government didn't cut spending, it raised taxes, GST was introduced in
1991 at 7%, a national VAT like tax. Yep, buy a $20K auto and write the
government a $1400 cheque over and above other taxes, local sales taxes
extra. Liberals promised to cancel it to get elected but decided they
loved the spending.

What the federal government did was jack the taxes and then make health
care a provincial responsibility, keeping the federal cash cow taxes
high. And the provinces jacked the taxes to compensate.

Result, working Canadians got tax screwed in both ears at once.
