In Canada he would be called a baby killing anti-christ for suggesting smaller government. But it is a coming. Wish our government controlled media up here would put on his show. http://www.federalbudget.com/ http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8518438.stm So how is the government making ends meet? Scary, but they just create the money on the Federal reserve and loan it back to themselves. How long that will go on is anyones guess, but the results are historiccally hyper-inflationary. The Chinese Yuan is strong, and being pegged to the USD helps prop up the USD. Think, China has more control over US currency than does Obama, the price of debt worship. While technically I think the situation can be reversed, factoring in politics and the lack of reality of the masses of voters, might as well plan for the worst and hope the leftist big spenders come to grips with reality. USA is broke. -- Socialism and statism are great as long as someone else pays for it. |

But I prefer the Internet as even the US news has liberalism and pro statism in it. On the Internet you get it raw and uncooked. Well, there's one explanation for your totally screwed mindset. -- The Tea Party's teabaggers are just the Republican base by another name. |

That should tell you it is BS. Jean Chrétien was part of ad-scam, theft of government moneys. So crooked many said he lied out of both sides of his mouth in two languages at the same time. Paul Martian can after, just wanted to make sure his Canada Steam Ships tax loophole was kept open. Government didn't cut spending, it raised taxes, GST was introduced in 1991 at 7%, a national VAT like tax. Yep, buy a $20K auto and write the government a $1400 cheque over and above other taxes, local sales taxes extra. Liberals promised to cancel it to get elected but decided they loved the spending. What the federal government did was jack the taxes and then make health care a provincial responsibility, keeping the federal cash cow taxes high. And the provinces jacked the taxes to compensate. Result, working Canadians got tax screwed in both ears at once. -- Socialism and statism are great as long as someone else pays for it. |
